Below are instructions on how to assist clients with the direct connection to Sage Intact.
- The client will to create a user for Gaviti in their Sage intact.
Enable Web Service:
1. Navigate Company → Admin → Subscriptions (Admin can do it)
2. Scroll to the bottom and Enable the toggle for Web Services.
Web Services Configuration:
1. Navigate to Company → Setup → Company
2. Select Security tab
3. Click Edit
4. Scroll to section called Web Services authorizations
5. Add Gaviti’s Sender ID: GavitiMPP
6. Set the status to Active
Creating Web Service User:
The client needs to create a Web Service User (not a regular user)
1. Navigate to Company → Admin
2. Click the '+' icon next to Web Services Users
3. When creating the user, these configurations are important:
Enter a valid email address for the user you want to authorize
For User Type, select Business
For Admin Privileges, select None (For Now)
4. Click Roles Information tab
5. Grant the user Admin role
If Admin role doesn’t exist, you’ll need to create one then return step 4 and 5.
Multiple Business Units:
Since you've got multiple business units, in the creation of the web service user, click the User Entities tab.
From there, they can explicitly choose which business units the web service user is allowed to fetch from.
If more than one entity is provided, the client must provide Gaviti with the location ID (entity ID) for each business unit.
** Each Business unit uses separated API Calls
Provide Gaviti with the following web service user credentials:
1. user_id
2. user_password
3. compay_id
4. location_id (Only for multi business unit)
After you have the details, go to the client's account in Gaviti and add a Sage Intact adapter:
Base URL is always: https://api.intacct.com/ia/xml/xmlgw.phtml
Rest of the details you should get from the client.
After that, create a JSON for Sage Intact adapter. You will need to do all the mapping Manually.
